At the end of November I got a hold of Netatmo's new home surveillance camera, the Netatmo Welcome. What makes the Welcome special is that it uses face recognition to identify who enters and leaves the home. This blog post will introduce you to the Netatmo Welcome and give you a summary of my experience using the camera during the month i have used it and how I have set it up in my home automation system.
I was not quite sure what i was going to call this post, HTC One M8 update 3 or Zony Xperia Z3 because it is in fact both. As you might remeber i have written about the One M8 here, here and here. And it did not exactly end there. After lots of back and forth it ended up being the case that the warranty in HTS's opinion did not cover the fact that the power button got damaged because of a scratch on the back of the phone. Damage which was done to the unit while on service. Anyways the store where i bought the phone gave up on HTC and offered me a brand new one. Fortunately with all the faults i had with the One M8 i was able to choose another phone. I like the header states i ended up with a Sony Xperia Z3 and here is a short write-up of my first impressions
I just wanted to give you guys another update on my HTC One M8 problems. I have written about the Camera Lens problems here and about the problems i had when i got it back from repair the first time here.
Back for repair for the third time...
I am currently back to using my Samsung Galaxy S4 after recently discovering that the HTC One M8 camera lens has become scratched or distorted. It seems that the problem is affecting all the phones released in several different versions around various regions.
